[a frustrated sigh is the first thing to broadcast over the Sphere, followed by the appearance of a tall, skinny woman with long, dark hair who appears to be wearing a suit exactly like the Doctor's brown pinstripe suit. unfortunately, the Sphere's only showing her from behind and there really isn't much to see as she doesn't have much of a figure. she doesn't seem to notice that her trousers are a little tight around her hips--the only thing, really, that is snug--but otherwise, they're cut to length. the only things that are ill-fitting are the suit-coat, which is too baggy around her shoulders, and the button-up shirt and other ones layered underneath.]

[grumbling under her breath, she runs an impatient hand through her hair.] Damn glasses, they used to stay on my face...

[finally, the Sphere swings around to show her fast at work in the security station, her expression severe and focused completely on the task at hand. until she suddenly smacks a hand on the desk and slumps into a chair there. she tears the glasses from her face and tucks them away into an inside pocket of her suit.]

Blimey, what the hell did he do?! I've tried everything and I still can't figure it out. There has to be something I'm missing...

So...what next? We still haven't tried the food in this place!

Well, finding a seat would be next, Ollie boy! Where do you want to sit?

What about by that glowing wall over there?

The purpleish one or--oh! There's another over there! Let's see if that one's similar. [heads over to there, tugging on Oliver's hand]

If it's like anything else in this place, it won't be! [follows her eagerly]</i.

Well, see what it does! [has a seat right in front of the wall in question]

[this wall is pulsating in a variety of colours. Oliver reaches out to touch it and cries out in surprise, drawing his hand back and watching as a spark of multicoloured light arches from the wall to his fingertips briefly before fading out] Whoa! Some sort of electricity trick. [flexes his fingers, which give off a few more tiny sparks]

[touches it too and lets out an excited sort of sound when the light connects to his fingers] Would you look at that!

What is that? Is it like that...uh...Tesla thing? [pokes the wall again, yelping and laughing as he pulls his fingers back and watches the light]

Tesla, though brilliant for his time, would never have thought to do something quite like this! [laughs again when the the coloured light arcs across his fingers.] Oh, I know! Let's see if we can create some sparks between the two of us!

[grins] Now there's an idea! How should we do it? Both draw away from the wall and then bring our hands close?

Mmm, we could do that. [smiles]

Okay, count of three we touch the wall! One...two...three! [puts his hand against the wall again, unable to help another yelp mixed with a laugh]

[giggles when he presses his hand to the wall. the electrical charge tickles more than anything.] Okay, and now reach for my hand! [holds other hand out across the table towards Oliver]

[reaches his hand out, eager to see what this little experiment will produce]

[even before their hands touch, a brilliant display of sparks arches between their fingers, sending coloured lights dancing up both their arms] Hah! Would you look at that!
