[urgently, looking around at everyone who's gathered and secretly is unsettled by the fact that Oliver hasn't shown up yet.] All right, sorry everyone, but those of us here can't wait any longer.

Now. A ship this size is going to need an awfully big section devoted just to the engineering end of operations, so there's going to be the potential of getting lost in there. I've got some markers here for some of the teams here [points to a handful left on the floor], but you lot who haven't arrived yet should bring something to mark where you've been as well.

In Orion's message, he said we should be able to find our way to the right area easy enough, but if you know your ships--and I do--it's not going to be as simple as that. We have to find the right door to even get access to the main engine control room. But Orion was useful for something since he gave us the passcodes we can use--just didn't tell us which one, so we going to have to try them all out and hope we don't get locked out of the system. That's a risk we're going to have to take.

I don't know about you, but when the right door is found, we shouldn't let Ganymede know or else he'll come running and try to put a stop to this. [hopes to find the man before this can happen.] So to get around any nosy captains, when you do find the door, use Klavier's suggestion and announce it over the Spheres, but say "I've hit my elbow on the door!" From there, we'll locate you and see about shutting down those engines.

All right, enough talk! Those of you who are still on your way, please be careful. And that goes for all of you as well. [eyes everyone in front of him, his expression serious.]

Now...allons-y! [points towards the door Ganymede had disappeared into.]

Oliver, where are you? It doesn't take that long to get from the cinema to the transportation pads. [a little fear slips into his voice and he can almost feel another wave of time sickness coming on. he fights to push that feeling away.]

[listens for a moment, tuning out the throbbing pain in his face and hand]

No. We should be good if we leave right now.

[sighs; this definitely isn't good.] We're going to the moon, Ollie. We have to get our space suits on so we can play golf with Alan Shepard.

No, but we're going to make a short trip to pick up some golf clubs. Alan doesn't like to share his.

[stares at him] Did I miss something? Weren't there monsters? Weren't we...we were doing something else... [is trying to make this make sense somehow]

Never mind, just...never mind. [carefully manoeuvres him through the doorway back into the chrome-lined walls of the holo-suite level.] And they're not monsters either, Oliver. They're creatures of some unknown origin.

No, they're not passengers, I told you that before. Everyone's accounted for in one way or another.

No. Their movements are faster and they're...well, they're smarter. Not that I'm saying we've got nothing but fluff between our ears, no, far from it, but these creatures didn't hesitate in their attack.

And they didn't shoot laser blasts at us.

No... [blinks, seeming to take a real look at himself for the first time] Oh God, my arm! [gasps in pain, his state of shock beginning to fade--and his legs losing most of what little stability they had]

[grabs onto him the moment he feels Oliver start to slip from his grasp. his voice is urgent and he pays no attention to his own broken hand.] Calm down Ollie! Your arm can be fixed, I promise. Don't think about it, please!

[hisses, closing his eyes against the pain and grabbing the Doctor with his good hand, beginning to panic] But...what happened!? I...everything hurts! Ohhh...not again...

[holds him for a moment] We were attacked, Oliver. [and he was too slow] But we're going to be fine. We're almost to the transportation pads, see?

[but from his friend's gibbering panic and how hard of a time he seemed to have standing up, he decides he has no choice but to drag him the rest of the way. he only hopes that doing so won't hurt Oliver any more than he already is.]

[Oliver is getting too lost in the pain now to mind how he's getting to the transportation pad; he's breathing hard, eyes wild as he looks at the Doctor] It's my fault. If I hadn't... [cringes against another wave of pain, crying out] Ohhh, why am I so stupid!? I'm sorry, Doctor...

[continues to drag him there as carefully as he can, but he can't afford to stop, not until they've made it to the hospital wing] Oliver, it's not your fault! Don't you dare start thinking that way!

It is! I... [falters for a moment, just breathing, eyes squeezed shut tight against the pain] I couldn't fight that thing!

[finally gets Oliver up onto the transportation pad, and he cries out having to use his left hand to lift Oliver up onto it.]

No, not even that, Oliver! You had more than one of those creatures on you and there's no way... You were overwhelmed. It happens.

[gently taps his bruised hand on the scanner, sending them towards the hospital level.]

Not at first! If I'd just...if I'd stopped that first one... [cries out as getting moved onto the transporter shifts his broken arm] Oh God, what have I done... Doctor, you're hurt. We have to...we have to get you help first. You have to get back down there! We're losing time! We...

[breaths in sharply at another wave of pain, and his clarity begins to slip, his gaze losing focus] This can't happen. Not because of me. I have to help...I have to fix this! [groans] My head...what did I do to my head? Ohhh, make it stop. It all hurts...

[as upset and scared he is, he can't help getting angry at what his friend's saying] Oliver Day, shut it! Nothing is your fault and you don't always have to fix things! You can only do so much.

[but his anger wanes as soon as he's said that and he shifts his hold on oliver, dragging him backwards off the pad and down the hallway towards the emergency examination area, his hands slipped underneath Oliver's armpits and clasping him snug around the chest. he hopes he's not exacerbating any injuries there, but he has no other choice at this point.]

[looks blearily up at the Doctor; he's no more than a dead weight now, and his hold on consciousness is growing tenuous at best] I hesitated. Now I'm paying...you're paying... [hisses in pain again, his eyes rolling back] Chloe...don't let her see...not again...

[if his hand wasn't already hurting like hell, he'd stop and shake oliver, but all he can do is shout]

Oliver, keep your eyes open! She's not even here to see you right now, but if she were, she'd tell you off for thinking what you just did a moment ago!
