[ooc: backdated to a little while after this entry.]
[In person, but also filtered to all passengers who'll be joining in the search later.]
[urgently, looking around at everyone who's gathered and secretly is unsettled by the fact that Oliver hasn't shown up yet.] All right, sorry everyone, but those of us here can't wait any longer.
Now. A ship this size is going to need an awfully big section devoted just to the engineering end of operations, so there's going to be the potential of getting lost in there. I've got some markers here for some of the teams here [points to a handful left on the floor], but you lot who haven't arrived yet should bring something to mark where you've been as well.
In Orion's message, he said we should be able to find our way to the right area easy enough, but if you know your ships--and I do--it's not going to be as simple as that. We have to find the right door to even get access to the main engine control room. But Orion was useful for something since he gave us the passcodes we can use--just didn't tell us which one, so we going to have to try them all out and hope we don't get locked out of the system. That's a risk we're going to have to take.
I don't know about you, but when the right door is found, we shouldn't let Ganymede know or else he'll come running and try to put a stop to this. [hopes to find the man before this can happen.] So to get around any nosy captains, when you do find the door, use Klavier's suggestion and announce it over the Spheres, but say "I've hit my elbow on the door!" From there, we'll locate you and see about shutting down those engines.
All right, enough talk! Those of you who are still on your way, please be careful. And that goes for all of you as well. [eyes everyone in front of him, his expression serious.]
Now...allons-y! [points towards the door Ganymede had disappeared into.]
[/filter to everyone]
[filter to Oliver]
Oliver, where are you? It doesn't take that long to get from the cinema to the transportation pads. [a little fear slips into his voice and he can almost feel another wave of time sickness coming on. he fights to push that feeling away.]

Re: filter;
Date: 2009-05-03 10:25 pm (UTC)Doctor, it hurts. I... [breathes in sharply, opening his eyes to look at the Doctor again] I'm trying to be strong...
Re: filter;
Date: 2009-05-03 10:36 pm (UTC)You are, Ollie. You are just from going in there to search and help in the first place, but there's such a thing as doing too much! You need to learn that line! I'm not bringing you back to Chloe a broken man. I refuse!
Re: filter;
Date: 2009-05-03 10:44 pm (UTC)[groans again, trailing off, his eyes sliding closed as his thoughts wander] I want to see her again. Did you see her, Doctor? She stayed with me. She kept visiting when I told her not to...bringing me things... Even though I said to stop. Even though I didn't remember. How can anyone be that wonderful? I miss her...
Re: filter;
Date: 2009-05-04 01:08 am (UTC)Come on, keep those eyes open! You were talking about Chloe! Think about all the stuff you're going to do once you get to see her again--and you will see her again. [continues dragging Oliver again, entering the waiting room--they're close now.]
Re: filter;

Date: 2009-05-04 01:34 am (UTC)[a moment later, he slams his back into the doors to the examination area.] R2! Come on out, I know you're around! I need you--[and he can't resist adding this]--STAT!
[to Oliver] Ollie, we're going to end the pain, okay? [drags him over to the nearest examination table, hefting him up as best as he can.] I'm going to need your help here, Oliver. My hand's about had it.
Re: filter;

Date: 2009-05-04 01:54 am (UTC)[the robotic doctor zooms over a moment later, immediately beginning a cursory examination of Oliver, and tells him that it wants to look at him next.]
Oliver, I'm sorry, I know you don't like this place, but you have to stay here.

Date: 2009-05-04 02:22 am (UTC)and when he sits up, he notices that he's been given a local pain killer as he can't exactly feel most of his left arm, but he's glad to see an advanced version of a cast on his hand, the area where his barcode is conveniently cut out. it looks like a stiff glove has been slipped over his hand, but thankfully, he can move his thumb and wrist freely.]
[he takes the moment while R2's off somewhere else to slip off the examination table he'd been dragged onto and wanders over to Oliver's.]
Ollie? Can you hear me? How are you doing?
Re: filter;
Date: 2009-05-04 02:32 am (UTC)Re: filter;
Date: 2009-05-04 04:16 am (UTC)So. [slightly more serious now.] How are you feeling, Oliver?
Re: filter;
Date: 2009-05-04 10:35 am (UTC)[is clearly surprised by that, and he pushes himself up, just slightly, with his right hand to take a proper look at himself, noticing the hospital gown (which he thankfully assumes the Doctor helped get him into), as well as the sling on his left arm, and the bandages and bruising on his right; he lies back down and slowly lifts his right hand, bringing it up to tap his face, cringing at what he finds] That really happened, then. I can hardly feel it.
Re: filter;
Date: 2009-05-04 03:13 pm (UTC)Yes, it really happened and unless the ship's added another all white venue, we're definitely in the hospital. It's probably all for the best that you can't feel anything properly just yet. [remembers Oliver's cries of pain and clenches his teeth for a brief moment.]

Date: 2009-05-04 09:25 pm (UTC)And what about me, Doctor? What did the robot say?
Re: filter;
Date: 2009-05-04 09:28 pm (UTC)But I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your quest--ohhh, hello there chart... [eyes a metallic folder hanging discretely by the foot of Oliver's examination table. he has a feeling the robot left it there for him on purpose--he hasn't seen the robot take notes before. still, he reads through them quickly, his expression neutral.]
Hmm, looks like he wants you moved into a private room for the night... Ugh, that means hospital food. [makes a face, sticking his tongue out in disgust] I haven't yet found a hospital that had appetizing food. I've found prisons with better food services.
Re: filter;
Date: 2009-05-04 09:33 pm (UTC)Re: filter;
Date: 2009-05-04 09:39 pm (UTC)You nearly cracked your skull open, Oliver. You've got a broken arm--clean break it seems, but that's not something that's going to heal overnight--and bruises galore. Also, you no doubt have had a concussion and possible internal bleeding if the number of bruises on your abdomen here are to be believed. [taps the chart]
So, you are staying put.
