[a frustrated sigh is the first thing to broadcast over the Sphere, followed by the appearance of a tall, skinny woman with long, dark hair who appears to be wearing a suit exactly like the Doctor's brown pinstripe suit. unfortunately, the Sphere's only showing her from behind and there really isn't much to see as she doesn't have much of a figure. she doesn't seem to notice that her trousers are a little tight around her hips--the only thing, really, that is snug--but otherwise, they're cut to length. the only things that are ill-fitting are the suit-coat, which is too baggy around her shoulders, and the button-up shirt and other ones layered underneath.]

[grumbling under her breath, she runs an impatient hand through her hair.] Damn glasses, they used to stay on my face...

[finally, the Sphere swings around to show her fast at work in the security station, her expression severe and focused completely on the task at hand. until she suddenly smacks a hand on the desk and slumps into a chair there. she tears the glasses from her face and tucks them away into an inside pocket of her suit.]

Blimey, what the hell did he do?! I've tried everything and I still can't figure it out. There has to be something I'm missing...

[mischievous little grin] We all have to help ourselves once in a while, Oliver.

Well, yeah, but not because you decided to put me in a situation like that!

On the contrary, you put yourself in it by giving me permission and then revoking it like some sort of indian giver. [of course, he doesn't mean to do anything of the sort, not from that teasing tone of voice.]

You know, Doctor, I think you're even more pedantic than usual when you're female.

You said--[coughs slightly, remembering to deepen his voice while he affects a Brummie accent]--"Lock me in a room for my own good, sure." [returns to 'normal' voice.] See? You only said I couldn't tie you up, which, I think in light of the way things are right at the mo', that might give you something else to do.

Even more so, eh? But I've always been like this. Pedantic, I mean.

[bursts out laughing] Nice try, Doctor, but you need some work! And you know what I meant. It's something you would do, not something I want you to do!

Well, sure, but this is definitely worse than usual, which makes sense. Women are terrible about splitting hairs.

[frowns] It's difficult to do with this voice! Honestly, Oliver, you should really watch what you say.

You know, it's a terrible thing, splitting hares. There's far too many of them running around with a foot missing.

[stares at him for a moment, then bursts out laughing]

You sure being female isn't a bit too much for you, Doctor?

[huffs; honestly, what was funny about that?!] I have no idea what you mean, Oliver Day.

I think you're cracking up!

[bit_impossible]

What?! How am I cracking up?

[wags a finger at him] I would if you simply explained what you mean, Oliver Day.

Well frankly, your explanation stinks was worse than the gas release from a Slitheen. Try again!

[waves a hand] Nevermind. Let's do something else! Hey, the cinema's running again! How long has it been since we've seen a movie?

[bit_impossible]

[smiles] Too long.

[oliverplus]

Then let's go! My treat, since I can't have the lovely lady paying.

[bit_impossible]

[just...shakes his head.] I'll meet you there in a moment, then.

[oliverplus]

Great! I'll be there! [he's already hurrying off toward the transportation pad]

[bit_impossible]

[makes his way to the transportation pad after giving the security station's desk a swift kick--and consequently pausing to tighten the laces on his trainers so his feet didn't slide around quite as much--and soon arrives at the cinema! and waits. impatiently.]
