--Ah hello! [taps the Sphere] Good to know this lovely little recorder still works, especially after that last barrage of festive decorations and goodies. I had a couple Christmas trees in my kitchen. At least they were pre-light [mumbles] and had no suspicious ornaments hanging off the branches. Everything was covered in snow too, but I suppose that's better than the buckets of slime dumped on my head in the bathroom a while ago... It's all gone now, even the trees. Thank goodness too, that was a lot of slime.
[wanders into his bedroom, expecting more stuff to appear and is slightly disappointed when nothing does]
Huh, all done with that, eh ship? Anyway...there was a point to--Oh yes! [pulls his coat out from the drawers and throws it over the Sphere. His voice is muffled and sounds like he's moving about the room.] If anyone was curious, I did check out the hospital wing--or rather Oliver and I did; he helped--and there's a nice robot there who can treat us if we get injured. He's a bit pushy, but flatter him a bit and he'll open right up. Not sure exactly what all he can do medically, as far as major surgery goes anyway, but he's pretty useful.
[beat. finally removes coat and he's put on his brown suit! and is much happier.] Better!
Unfortunately, we didn't run into anyone else; heard the lot of you chatting on this, though. Sounds like there's a lot more people up and about now, eh? The restricted levels are very much restricted and out of bounds, even for me. [does not like being kept out. is not a stays-in-bounds kind of guy]
Haven't been all over the ship yet. Blimey, this place is huge! And by huge, I mean "immensely and you better be wearing good shoes or else you'll get blisters" kind of huge.
Has anyone else discovered anything interesting or out of the ordinary? [finally opens the little box left on his bed and his blood runs cold upon seeing the note inside] Did...anyone else get a little gift in their room? Tiny box, pretty packaging?

Date: 2008-10-05 05:00 am (UTC)You haven't noticed anything else out of the ordinary?

Date: 2008-10-05 07:10 am (UTC)What isn't out of the ordinary? There are no people. There's no crew. This place is huge, but it's empty. There are so many things wrong I don't even know where to begin.

Date: 2008-10-05 07:16 am (UTC)Perhaps at the beginning? Or off to the right. A good direction's always a decent place to start.

Date: 2008-10-05 07:49 am (UTC)[rummages through pockets in his coat] No, no...bit of string--never know when that might come in handy--nope, ah! I think I got one! [pulls it out] Heads or--oh, hang on, heads again? I was wondering where this got to... [puts it back]
Never mind about the coin then. Suppose I could pick a direction for you, if you'd like.
