[urgently, looking around at everyone who's gathered and secretly is unsettled by the fact that Oliver hasn't shown up yet.] All right, sorry everyone, but those of us here can't wait any longer.

Now. A ship this size is going to need an awfully big section devoted just to the engineering end of operations, so there's going to be the potential of getting lost in there. I've got some markers here for some of the teams here [points to a handful left on the floor], but you lot who haven't arrived yet should bring something to mark where you've been as well.

In Orion's message, he said we should be able to find our way to the right area easy enough, but if you know your ships--and I do--it's not going to be as simple as that. We have to find the right door to even get access to the main engine control room. But Orion was useful for something since he gave us the passcodes we can use--just didn't tell us which one, so we going to have to try them all out and hope we don't get locked out of the system. That's a risk we're going to have to take.

I don't know about you, but when the right door is found, we shouldn't let Ganymede know or else he'll come running and try to put a stop to this. [hopes to find the man before this can happen.] So to get around any nosy captains, when you do find the door, use Klavier's suggestion and announce it over the Spheres, but say "I've hit my elbow on the door!" From there, we'll locate you and see about shutting down those engines.

All right, enough talk! Those of you who are still on your way, please be careful. And that goes for all of you as well. [eyes everyone in front of him, his expression serious.]

Now...allons-y! [points towards the door Ganymede had disappeared into.]

Oliver, where are you? It doesn't take that long to get from the cinema to the transportation pads. [a little fear slips into his voice and he can almost feel another wave of time sickness coming on. he fights to push that feeling away.]

[pulls him up as carefully as he can and winces as he has to use his left hand to help pick Oliver up.]

Lean on me as much as you need. And when I say "run", run, okay?

[cringes as he tries to stand as best he can; his legs have been bruised and beaten and don't appreciate the weight, but he doesn't want to lean too heavily against the Doctor. even as he tries to concentrate, his expression betrays how unfocused and distant he is, not fully aware of what's going on] Okay. I'm ready.

Hold on to me. Thankfully, we don't have too far to go, but nonetheless...

[he doesn't notice the exact state his companion's in since he's using just about every ounce of his concentration to listen for those creatures as he leads Oliver out into the hallway. so far, no sign of them, but he isn't eager to meet with any of them again in their current state.]

Keep talking to me Ollie.

[all Oliver's concentration is focused on walking as best he can, using the Doctor for support as he drags along beside him; he blinks, confused at the request] What if they hear us?

Then talk to me in a whisper. Not that them hearing us will matter if they can track us through scent...

Yeah, but... [he doesn't entirely understand the request] Okay. Are you okay?

I'm fine. Nothing I can't handle. A few broken fingers is nothing compared to actually losing my hand.

You lost your hand?

[frowns, alarm bells going off in his head] I did, back on Eos. Don't you remember?

[blinks, and it takes him a moment to answer; absently] Oh, yeah. And then the hole. I remember that.

[nods] Yes, that's right Ollie. [never mind he's lost his other hand before in a sword fight]

All right, not too much longer now. We're almost back to the start.

And no monsters. Right? [looks around; he just realized he wasn't paying attention]

[listens for a moment, tuning out the throbbing pain in his face and hand]

No. We should be good if we leave right now.

Then let's go. [blink] Where are we going?

[sighs; this definitely isn't good.] We're going to the moon, Ollie. We have to get our space suits on so we can play golf with Alan Shepard.

[looks at him] You found the TARDIS?

[if only]

No, but we're going to make a short trip to pick up some golf clubs. Alan doesn't like to share his.

[stares at him] Did I miss something? Weren't there monsters? Weren't we...we were doing something else... [is trying to make this make sense somehow]

Never mind, just...never mind. [carefully manoeuvres him through the doorway back into the chrome-lined walls of the holo-suite level.] And they're not monsters either, Oliver. They're creatures of some unknown origin.

[he's completely lost, so he gives up on that train of thought] They aren't people, are they?

[he hopes not]

No, they're not passengers, I told you that before. Everyone's accounted for in one way or another.

But they look just like you did...

No. Their movements are faster and they're...well, they're smarter. Not that I'm saying we've got nothing but fluff between our ears, no, far from it, but these creatures didn't hesitate in their attack.

And they didn't shoot laser blasts at us.

No... [blinks, seeming to take a real look at himself for the first time] Oh God, my arm! [gasps in pain, his state of shock beginning to fade--and his legs losing most of what little stability they had]

[grabs onto him the moment he feels Oliver start to slip from his grasp. his voice is urgent and he pays no attention to his own broken hand.] Calm down Ollie! Your arm can be fixed, I promise. Don't think about it, please!
