[urgently, looking around at everyone who's gathered and secretly is unsettled by the fact that Oliver hasn't shown up yet.] All right, sorry everyone, but those of us here can't wait any longer.

Now. A ship this size is going to need an awfully big section devoted just to the engineering end of operations, so there's going to be the potential of getting lost in there. I've got some markers here for some of the teams here [points to a handful left on the floor], but you lot who haven't arrived yet should bring something to mark where you've been as well.

In Orion's message, he said we should be able to find our way to the right area easy enough, but if you know your ships--and I do--it's not going to be as simple as that. We have to find the right door to even get access to the main engine control room. But Orion was useful for something since he gave us the passcodes we can use--just didn't tell us which one, so we going to have to try them all out and hope we don't get locked out of the system. That's a risk we're going to have to take.

I don't know about you, but when the right door is found, we shouldn't let Ganymede know or else he'll come running and try to put a stop to this. [hopes to find the man before this can happen.] So to get around any nosy captains, when you do find the door, use Klavier's suggestion and announce it over the Spheres, but say "I've hit my elbow on the door!" From there, we'll locate you and see about shutting down those engines.

All right, enough talk! Those of you who are still on your way, please be careful. And that goes for all of you as well. [eyes everyone in front of him, his expression serious.]

Now...allons-y! [points towards the door Ganymede had disappeared into.]

Oliver, where are you? It doesn't take that long to get from the cinema to the transportation pads. [a little fear slips into his voice and he can almost feel another wave of time sickness coming on. he fights to push that feeling away.]

[good luck trying to talk him out of this one, Oliver.] Well, there's really only one way we're going to find out.

[stops in front of one of the many doors down the one corridor they're exploring.] And that's stopping the Crucible's engines.

[goes to the next door over, doing a motion in front of him to make the suit disappear so he can get into his backpack and get his list of codes

nevermind his bruised face is starting to swell from a new whack. he keeps that side from facing the Doctor as he tries the codes, one by one, on the door]

[he releases his sphere, having memorized the different codes and starts inputting them one by one, each time meeting with no reaction from the door. his frown grows more severe as he goes down the list

by the time he reaches the last one, he sighs, pulling out a bright marker and leaving a small x on the door and the door panel controls.]

Well, I didn't expect it to be that easy... [from his tone, it's obvious he's not happy] Any luck there, Ollie?

Nope. [is fishing in his bag for a marker to mark his door as well] But there are plenty to try!

Yes... [that's the part he's not looking forward to, especially in a ship this size.]

Even in a ship this size, Ollie, I'm surprised there's this many doors and rooms for maintenance purposes. Who's using them? The size of the crew alone had to number close to one thousand! Or more!

And you don't think this ship has a sense of humour?

[smiles faintly] At the very least, it has the same twisted kind most video game programmers have!

[laughs] You and those video games!

Would that make Ganymede the final boss or the puppet of the real one?

Hopefully we'll know soon... [tries another door]

[nods and begins heading towards another door when he suddenly stops mid-step. narrowing his eyes, he peers around in the dim hallway, the hairs on the back of his neck standing up on end.]

[softly, his voice barely above a whisper.] Oliver...we're not alone.

[stops what he's doing, following the Doctor's gaze; whispers] More creatures?

Afraid so... [unconsciously begins to reach for his sphere.]

[is doing the same, still trying to catch sight of the things--and he finally does see them, just shadows moving in the distance for now, but getting closer]

[the minute one of those creatures got near enough for him to see its face, he shouts the obligatory transformation phrase, once again donning the worn TARDIS blue uniform.]

Oliver, be ready!

[he's already reaching for his sphere and transforming back into his green suit, which has mysteriously repaired the tear on its arm]

Take the lead, Doctor! Let's vanquish this evil!

[gives an exaggerated nod and strikes a flashy pose!]

In the name of Time and Space, we will righteously take you down in a disabling fashion!

[strikes a pose as well] So turn from your evil ways now if you don't wish to be disabled!

[the creatures are in full view now--there is an entire group of them, rushing toward them down the hallway]

Defensive position alpha! [strikes a different pose, his hands far away from the blasters as he can keep them. turns his head towards Ollie.] Let them come! For now, we should avoid a fight as long as we can! We've got doors to check before Ganymede disappears again!

[strikes his own defensive pose, arms in front of him and hands fisted, then turns toward the Doctor as well] Strategic retreat down that hallway?

You betcha!

[after waiting a moment longer for the creatures to near, he bends his knees and shouts:] NOW!

[and then pushes himself off the ground, jumping high into the air. he does a double somersault in the air--but he still hasn't cleared the group, so he plants his foot on one of the creatures' heads and begins to run from head to head, aiming for the open hallway beyond.]

Kyah! [Oliver follows suit, but the creatures are expecting him, and the one he steps on jerks its head, causing him to slip, falling to the ground in the midst of the group of them]

[doesn't notice oliver's not behind him as he's still running across heads--

--until a group of them suddenly reach up, grabbing his feet and legs and jerk him down as they neatly part so his face can get acquainted with the ground.]

[braces with his arms, kicking into the air to knock away some of the closest ones before he pushes off his hands, jumping his way back to his feet] Let me through! I don't want to fight you!

[unfortunately, the creatures have other ideas, and Oliver hastily blocks as one throws a punch at him]

[he's too surprised to cry out; thankfully the helmet takes the brunt of the force or else his nose would've been broken. still, he can feel blood dripping from his nostrils, pooling around his chin in the helmet.

despite that, he thrashes out with his legs a moment later, twisting his body suddenly so he can get at least one foot free]

Unhand me! Oliver! Are you all right?!
