[a frustrated sigh is the first thing to broadcast over the Sphere, followed by the appearance of a tall, skinny woman with long, dark hair who appears to be wearing a suit exactly like the Doctor's brown pinstripe suit. unfortunately, the Sphere's only showing her from behind and there really isn't much to see as she doesn't have much of a figure. she doesn't seem to notice that her trousers are a little tight around her hips--the only thing, really, that is snug--but otherwise, they're cut to length. the only things that are ill-fitting are the suit-coat, which is too baggy around her shoulders, and the button-up shirt and other ones layered underneath.]

[grumbling under her breath, she runs an impatient hand through her hair.] Damn glasses, they used to stay on my face...

[finally, the Sphere swings around to show her fast at work in the security station, her expression severe and focused completely on the task at hand. until she suddenly smacks a hand on the desk and slumps into a chair there. she tears the glasses from her face and tucks them away into an inside pocket of her suit.]

Blimey, what the hell did he do?! I've tried everything and I still can't figure it out. There has to be something I'm missing...

[She whuffs, her tail wagging as she leans into the hug. It earns the Doctor a face-washing.]

[laughs] You cheeky thing! [stands and playfully rubs around Ammy's ears] Let's head inside. I hope you like fruity drinks!

[She grumbles happily, following him inside. Silly Doctor, he should know by now that Ammy likes just about anything to eat.]

[once inside, he practically skips over to the bar and puts in a drink order] Have a seat wherever you'd like! I'll be there in just a mo'!

[Glancing around, she finds a table with a bench and curls up on it to nap. Just a quick nap, honest.]

[it takes a little longer than expected--honestly, what's so hard about making a fruity drink with both little paper umbrellas and plastic swords?--but he comes over with two brightly coloured drinks a moment later and plunks one down in front of Ammy] Sorry about that. These robot bartenders have no idea how important flare is to a fruity drink.

[Ammy sits up and sniffs at the drink before shifting and getting comfortable again.]

Flare?

Yes! Basically--[removes the umbrella and all the fruit stuck to the glass and the plastic sword and holds it up]--all this!

Ohhhh. [She cocked her head, her ears flicking forward in curiosity. It smelled pretty good, although a little like sake. It must have been alcoholic, but Ammy was certain a little wouldn't bother her too much. She ate the fruit off the plastic sword, then turned it over in her hands as she inspected it.]

Why do they call it that?

Well, they actually call it garnish and garbage, but I think 'flare' has a better ring to it, don't you?

Go on! Give it a try! There's a drink called "Drink of the Gods". Thought it quite fitting for you.

Mm. [She nods, her tail wagging.]

Drink of the Gods?

Yep! That's the name of the drink. Ah, let me see if I remember correctly... It should be vodka, blueberry schnapps, and pineapple juice. There's other variations of it, I'm sure. Go on! Give it a try!

Mm, thank you for the meal. [She smiled, raising the glass to her lips before drinking. Ah~! It was good.... Ammy's tail started wagging excitedly, her ears perking forward.]

[takes a drink of his own drink--banana daiquiri, of course--and smiles at the goddess] Like that, huh? Now go on, have the fruit off the little sword! [eats the cherries and orange slice skewered on the bright neon plastic sword]

Mm! It is different, but not bad at all. [And the fresh fruit was nice, too.]

I'm glad you liked it! [triumphantly holds up sword] But see? This is what I was talking about! Though...looking at it now, would it be a little on the big side for your Envoy?

[She sniffs, then peers at the little sword in question.]

Mm, it is a bit big. But Issun is stronger than he looks, so it would only be a little awkward for him.

Well, assuming the same principles that allow an ant to carry so much can be applied to Issun, I can certainly see him having no problem doing so.

You make things sound so confusing sometimes.

[blinks at her] Do I? I don't mean to...

[She laughs softly, her tail wagging.]
