[a frustrated sigh is the first thing to broadcast over the Sphere, followed by the appearance of a tall, skinny woman with long, dark hair who appears to be wearing a suit exactly like the Doctor's brown pinstripe suit. unfortunately, the Sphere's only showing her from behind and there really isn't much to see as she doesn't have much of a figure. she doesn't seem to notice that her trousers are a little tight around her hips--the only thing, really, that is snug--but otherwise, they're cut to length. the only things that are ill-fitting are the suit-coat, which is too baggy around her shoulders, and the button-up shirt and other ones layered underneath.]

[grumbling under her breath, she runs an impatient hand through her hair.] Damn glasses, they used to stay on my face...

[finally, the Sphere swings around to show her fast at work in the security station, her expression severe and focused completely on the task at hand. until she suddenly smacks a hand on the desk and slumps into a chair there. she tears the glasses from her face and tucks them away into an inside pocket of her suit.]

Blimey, what the hell did he do?! I've tried everything and I still can't figure it out. There has to be something I'm missing...

Not in your dreams, Oliver Day! [but there's a mischievous little smile on his lips as he touches the wall and then reaches across to tap Oliver on the nose, electrical coloured lights arcing from his finger to Oliver.]

[jumps] Hey! [you're gonna make him go cross-eyed if you pull more tricks like that! and oops, no inhibitions, so he reaches across to the wall and then pokes her in the arm. watch out, his inner child is showing]

Oi! That's not very gentlemanly of you!

[oliverplus]

And shocking my nose was lady-like?

[bit_impossible]

[in a sing-song voice] Never been a woman before, so I can't say. [grabs Oliver's hand and starts heading for the door]

[oliverplus]

Whoa! [hurriedly follows after her, laughing] You know, normally I'd expect things to be really dangerous when you're in this insane of a mood!

[bit_impossible]

Well thankfully, we haven't run into anything more dangerous than questionable food!

[oliverplus]

Not yet!

[bit_impossible]

Oi, don't be tempting fate, Ollie, or else we just might have to run from a pack of stampeding deer or wildebeest and I certainly don't want to re-enact the Lion King here.

[oliverplus]

Well, we don't know what happened to Simba's mother, do we? So at least you'd be safe!

[bit_impossible]

[very seriously] Oliver. Simba's mother lived. Helps that she wasn't even there when that happened.

But that doesn't matter because I am not a woman! [saunters forward and pouts as he waits for Oliver to step onto the transportation pad.]

[oliverplus]

Did she? Ohhh, yeah. You know, we need to watch that one again, Doctor. It's been too long!

If you say so. [steps on beside him/her]

[bit_impossible]

[and as soon as the transportation pad reaches Level 20, he steps off, grabbing Oliver's hand, and leads them into the kitchen of his suite.] If there were a kitchen in the cinema, we could, but let's add that to the list, eh? We can go to the opening! Only, well, not in London. Already been to that one. Somewhere else, definitely.

[gets to work pulling out ingredients he'll need for a small batch of biscuits. those, at least, would not have gone stale or anything, plus the oven amazingly still works.]

Wouldn't want to run into yourself, huh?

[starts poking about in his kitchen cupboards, taking a look at what's there]

Well, no, it's more like I can't cross my own personal time line for something like that.

[oliverplus]

[blinks] You know, Doctor, the way you said that, you'd think there are reasons you can cross your personal timeline for.

[bit_impossible]

Well...usually not without consequence. Though, I can for cheap tricks. And I mean, really, really cheap tricks--and harmless ones at that.

[continues mixing the ingredients together, the oven on and heating up.]

Like what sort of cheap trick?

[bit_impossible]

[mumbles] Like proving to somebody that you're a time traveller and meeting them earlier in the day--only to have them meet your earlier self later in their time line...

[oliverplus]

I would've thought having them step into the TARDIS would've been easier!

[bit_impossible]

Would've, but this way was more fun at the time. [grins mischievously. he might've been showing off a little too.]

Oh, so that's what happened. [grins, amused]

[bit_impossible]

Yes, yes, that's what happened...

[continues to mix, eventually reaching for the baking sheets.] Here, want to sample the dough? See if it's to your liking?

[oliverplus]

You're really taking the challenge seriously, aren't you? Sure, I'll do that!

Why wouldn't I take it seriously? [offers Oliver the beater and doles out bits of dough onto the baking sheets.]
