[a frustrated sigh is the first thing to broadcast over the Sphere, followed by the appearance of a tall, skinny woman with long, dark hair who appears to be wearing a suit exactly like the Doctor's brown pinstripe suit. unfortunately, the Sphere's only showing her from behind and there really isn't much to see as she doesn't have much of a figure. she doesn't seem to notice that her trousers are a little tight around her hips--the only thing, really, that is snug--but otherwise, they're cut to length. the only things that are ill-fitting are the suit-coat, which is too baggy around her shoulders, and the button-up shirt and other ones layered underneath.]

[grumbling under her breath, she runs an impatient hand through her hair.] Damn glasses, they used to stay on my face...

[finally, the Sphere swings around to show her fast at work in the security station, her expression severe and focused completely on the task at hand. until she suddenly smacks a hand on the desk and slumps into a chair there. she tears the glasses from her face and tucks them away into an inside pocket of her suit.]

Blimey, what the hell did he do?! I've tried everything and I still can't figure it out. There has to be something I'm missing...

So it's like...flame sauce? [reaches out to dip his fingers in it, bringing them back and licking them] Whoa! That's...different.

Almost! Sauces coat, this enhances. [picks up his fork and scoops up a bit of the purple vegetable dish. he closes his eyes as a most delightful taste hits his tongue.] Mmmm. I should've gone with this one to begin with.

You sound like my mum! Again!

Really? That good? [grabs his own fork and reaches across to give it a go himself]

What, she always second-guesses her first choice in entrées?

[oliverplus]

No, but she always throws in random food information and recommendations when you least expect it. [pops the fork in his mouth] Wow. That is good!

[bit_impossible]

[frowns] But I've always done that. Random little facts about whatever. You know? I've had the market on that for a lot longer than your mum's been alive!

[oliverplus]

Well, yeah, but cooking? Gotta be your inner woman showing, Doctor.

[bit_impossible]

Oi, I can too cook! I just don't care to. There are other things I could be doing instead.

Didn't say you couldn't! Even after those biscuits you made. But it's not something you usually give advice on.

[bit_impossible]

[points at self] Ollie. Doctor of everything. That includes cooking.

[oliverplus]

[raises an eyebrow] You sure about that one? Wouldn't know from your biscuits. Or the way you keep your kitchen!

[bit_impossible]

[pouts] Like I said. Better things to do.

[pauses] Besides, my biscuits aren't that bad!

[oliverplus]

Not unless you're wanting to spend the next half-a-day sleeping.

[bit_impossible]

My non-tainted ones taste just as good and don't put you to sleep, thank you very much.

[frowns and shoves a forkful of the purple dish into his mouth]

[oliverplus]

That sort of assumes the tainted ones tasted good to begin with.

[goes back to his original dish, which, thankfully, has returned to orange for the moment]

You seemed to enjoy them well enough before you passed out.

[blinks and thinks about this for a moment] I don't really remember.

[bit_impossible]

[sniffs] Well, you did.

[oliverplus]

You're gonna have to prove that, you know.

What, d'you want me to make some biscuits right now?

[oliverplus]

Why not? Or are you afraid that'd be too feminine?

[bit_impossible]

[mulls it over for a moment, then wipes his lips off with a cloth napkin and stands] Fine, I'll prove it to you.

Oh, and by the way, it'd be too feminine if I slipped into a pair of high heels and frilly apron while I made them.

[oliverplus]

[stands as well] Now that would be a sight to remember!

[bit_impossible]

Not in your dreams, Oliver Day! [but there's a mischievous little smile on his lips as he touches the wall and then reaches across to tap Oliver on the nose, electrical coloured lights arcing from his finger to Oliver.]

[jumps] Hey! [you're gonna make him go cross-eyed if you pull more tricks like that! and oops, no inhibitions, so he reaches across to the wall and then pokes her in the arm. watch out, his inner child is showing]
