Yes. Why's that so hard to believe?

Ahh, U.N.I.T. used to be the United Nations Intelligence Taskforce, basically an organisation that protected Earth from alien threats and tidied situations up so the general public had no knowledge of what was going on.

Nowadays, it's called Unified Intelligence Taskforce. Complete bunk, if you ask me. [and they're even more hard-nosed there than his old U.N.I.T. used to be like.]
