[twenty-four hours has passed, the proverbial timer in the universe goes off, and much in the way that riku appeared, so does he, but mere feet away from the hole he jumped in the previous day. his clothes are even worse for the wear than when he first went in, small tears and cuts all over his beloved coat and suit.]

[but he's alive and starts to cough, his face tight as all at once pain shoots through every cell in his body. again his voice is strained, but he sounds happy despite it all.]

Fun ride. Don't think I'll be repeating that one again. [he tries to sit up, but immediately collapses right back on the ground and begins to laugh slightly, ignoring the pain. then suddenly stops.]

Hang on...same voice, [tentatively feels his face] same nose, sideburns, hair, mole between shoulder blades--Oh! And both hands! I like that! Glad that worked out!

[whispers to himself] But...I thought I'd died... I felt it! And yet I didn't regenerate... [his eyebrows furrow] How odd.

[makes a face] Not to the point of uninhabitability. But I've had to move my bed.

Well, my blanket's shorter than it used to be. And my mp3 went, at some point.

But your stuff still looked the same, far as I could tell.

Well, I wouldn't doubt if my tea kettle's become a victim of the holes.

[frowns thoughtfully] Maybe. I haven't really thought about it since we ran out of tea.

Sadly, I have. Had a nice cuppa with that Howl fellow not too long ago, and it did nothing but whet my appetite for more.

[surprised] Do you know if he still has any?

[bit_impossible]

[shakes his head] No idea. He's a hard fellow to track down. Someone ought to put a bell on him.

[oliverplus]

Not until after we've gotten one for you.

[bit_impossible]

I'd find a way to silence it. [eyes him]

[oliverplus]

[eyes him right back] We'll see about that.

[bit_impossible]

Find me a bell I can't silence, then we'll see.

I'm sure in the whole wide universe I can come across something...

And do you really think you can use me and my TARDIS to cart your around the universe just so you can find that one object? You're sorely mistaken, Oliver Day.

Well, I'd be lying if I said I'm not expecting us to pick up a few more things, maybe save a few people on the way...

Well, gotta concentrate on finding that bell, you know. I wouldn't want you wandering off again first.

Without that bell, you'd be none the wiser if I did, wouldn't you?

[frowns] I'd notice if you disappeared.
