Attention! Attention everyone in the Enviro-dome! Don't know about you, but Oliver here [points to the young man resting just out of view of the sphere] was just attacked by...something. I tried to reason with it, but it apparently wasn't interested in any kind of discussion.

Be careful, and watch for discrepancies in the snow fall. The creature won't be too far behind.

We do have some medical supplies, but I don't know how much.

Try to distract if you can, but don't attack it! We very well could be intruding on its lands and it's just being territorial.

And all of you on the outside...keep safe and out of harm's way. Stay in your rooms if you have to.

[defensively] But I'm not having them every night anymore! I mean, it's getting better.

Don't I know it. [sighs] You'd think I'm creative enough to at least add a little variety to my dreams. Apparently not.

[frowns, reluctant] It's...always the same.

[sighs] I wish there was something I could do to heal your mind or make those nightmares go away.

OH! I know, you said you tried some meditation techniques a while ago. How about trying one of those to clear your mind before sleeping? Doesn't exactly help right now, of course, but in the future it could be a viable solution.

[oliverplus]

[blinks, surprised] I didn't think of that! I mean, I was using the meditation to bring memories back--it's how I got so much so quickly. But I bet I could use it that way, too.

Yeah, I'll try that. After all, the last thing I want to do is bring our toothy friend to us because I can't keep quiet when I sleep.

Anything happen while I was out, Doctor?

Well, no sign of our mysterious friend, but it's probably been to busy attacking the others stuck in here with us. And from the sounds of it, we came out okay compared to them.

Oh, and the TARDIS scolded me. [frowns, nearly pouting] And Rangiku was concerned about you as well.

[doesn't mention his rather aggravating conversation with the not-human, though he does wish to meet with him in the future to satisfy his own curiosities about what he is.]

[frowns, concerned] What do you mean? Who got hurt? How badly? I mean, we've got supplies. We could try and get to them!

What? Why did the TARDIS scold you?

Oh! I should probably contact everybody, just to show I'm all in one piece. How is everyone on the outside doing?

[bit_impossible]

We should. I'm not sure what they have.

[frowns] Because she does. She always does when any of my companions get injured. I'm responsible for you all, so of course she's going to scold me.

At the moment, it sounds like we're lucky to be trapped in here with our bite-happy creature. We can't hear it or feel it in here, but there's been a lot of explosions... [is very concerned for everyone, especially the TARDIS]

[oliverplus]

Okay, I'll make a transmission and see if I can find out where they are. Do we have anything more than bandages and anti-septic? If that thing got a better hold of any of them than it did me...

What? But it wasn't your fault, Doctor. Neither of us expected something with giant teeth to sneak up behind me. Not to mention you're the one who got me out of it! I'm hardly "injured."

...explosions. [shivers, but not from the cold; can't help feeling a bit relieved that he's in here and not out there] How bad? Do we know if they're all okay? I mean...the TARDIS was going to go exploring! You said you talked to her? She's safe, right?

Hold on there! Calm down, Ollie. Everyone's alive, that's the important thing.

Other supplies...no. But Rangiku said to ring her up if we need anything.

[realizes something suddenly and smacks his forehead] OH! The string! Where'd that string go? ...It's back with the creature, isn't it? So much for that, then. If the entrance is there, we'll have something in place to help lead us there.

[oliverplus]

Yeah, but if they're injured, we have to help them!

[sighs in relief, nodding] Okay, that's good, at least.

...I forgot about the string. You're right; I must have dropped it when that thing went after me. Although honestly, Doctor, I'm starting to doubt there's any way out of here...

[bit_impossible]

Yes, and we'll do that. We need to make sure that you won't be injuring yourself further with any added activity, okay?

[smiles for his friend] There is. We just have to find the exit. Think of this place like a giant, cold, snowy maze--just without the shrub walls and dead ends.

[oliverplus]

[sighs] Doctor, it's really not a serious injury. [lifts his arm, waving it for emphasis and only wincing a little] Totally mobile. Nothing to worry about!

[smiles back] If you're sure, I'm sure. But we have to help the others first.

[bit_impossible]

Still, that was a bite from an unknown creature! And you're human! There could be all sorts of chemical reactions happening--though, hopefully staved off by those cleaning wipes I used earlier.

[pauses, forcing himself to stop.] No, you're right. Not like your arm is going to fall off!

[oliverplus]

...Doctor, if you keep that up, you're going to make me nervous.

[bit_impossible]

What? It's not like it ever happened! Not once has one of my companions lost an arm. Just ask the TARDIS.

[oliverplus]

I'll have to do that!

For now, I'm going to pretend you didn't say anything about chemicals and repeat: my arm is fine.

All right, all right, I get it! Oi...were you ever such a nag before?

[grins] Were you?

[bit_impossible]

Nuh uh, I asked first.

I'm gonna have to say no. You're the only one who split hairs!

What hare? I don't see one around here. Suppose there must be, since we are in a forest.

[shakes his head] Nice, Doctor. You just about managed to make me forget what we were talking about when this all started!
